The lights in the Station Theatre allow us all to see the wonderful acting that happens in our community, but our light fixtures are getting old and they are far from energy efficient!
In the next 5-7 years we hope to replace all of our lighting instruments (which will also help with our energy bill). The lights we currently use are 30+ years old!
- We want to purchase 8 color-changing LED Par Cans (~$6500). These lights will allow Lighting designers to more easily create different feelings with a wide range of color options from a single light!
- We want to purchase 20 LED Ellipsoidals (~$1000 per instrument). These lights allow us to create spotlight moments and other lighting effects.
Total this will run around $26,500 to replace ALL of our lights, but we hope to do this purchase in stages and your donation can help make those changes faster!
Donors at this level will be considered Station Special Illuminators, purchasing 20 LED Ellipsoidal fixtures. These instruments create special effects, spotlights, and other kinds of uses in theatrical lighting design. Each instrument costs approximately $1000. Your name will go on a plaque in the lobby and in our show programs thanking you for your contribution.
